URL redirection
Hi Team,
Hope you all are doing great.
I have one doubt, i have one URL say http://csllabc-dweb/webtop/* which point towards IP 10.51.50.1 (not hosted on F5) and it should redirect to another URL say https://dctmminap.abc.com/webtop/* which point to another IP 10.69.70.2 (hosted on F5).
Will it be taken care from DNS end ? Like they will delete existing A record and create CNAME record where csllabc-dweb will point towards our WIDE IP name (GTM).

Hi,
Usually, when using BigIP DNS / GTM, you should have a dedicated zonel. I guess from your example,
abc.com is the zone handled by GTM (NS records of this zone are pointing to your GTM resolvers.
Once done, change the original DNS record csllabc-dweb from A record to a CNAME to dctmminap.abc.com, then it's done.

Hi Yoann, Thanks for reply.Yeah, i think only changes required at DNS architecture. Regards, ShashankS
