I use hardwire failover Did I must disconnect hardwire failover before upgrade ? and Did I must connect hardwire failover before failover from Old to newly-upgraded unit ? Or I just disconnect all cable of old unit and connect all cable of newly-upgraded unit (1 minute downtime)? I don't know what to do with hardwire failover, Please guide me this. Thank you

Can I Just upgrade 9.1.2 >> 9.3.1 >> 9.4.8 >> 10.2.4 ? yes. there is ucs roll-forward issue when upgrading from 9.1.x to 9.4.x, so you have to go to 9.3.x and then 9.4.x. Did I must disconnect hardwire failover before upgrade ? i think you do not need to disconnect serial failover. it should work while upgrading.

teepan123, That's the supported path and no need to disconnet the failover cable - they'll both come up as active if you do. Once upgraded just failover to the upgraded box. Oh and when you get to the 10.2.4 upgrade you'll need to decide between volumes or partitions too. Good luck, N

Now I using step install

upgrade From 9.1.2 HD1.2 >> PXE install 9.3.1 in HD1.2>> image2disk 10.2.4 in HD1.1 (partition) >> install 9.1.2 another partition via PXE (this last step is crashed and everything is empty , box clean)

Updated again.

I tried install 9.1.2 & 10.2.4 .. it can install in same box but it occur

Error 24: Attempt to access block outside partition
Error 18: Selected cylinder exceeds maximum supported by BIOS

so forget about 9.1.2 & 10.2.4. I just update into 10.2.4 standalone in Volume (this is easier -_-) and everything work fine except alert.conf and postfix didn't roll forward into new firmware?
