upgrade from v9.4.7 to v10.2.1 issue

Hi all, i'm wondering if i can upgrade F5 LTM 1600 from v9.4.7 to v10.2.1 directly? but not from v9.4.7 to v10.1.0 then v10.1.0 to v10.2.1?   another question,i have to install hotfix and 10.2.1 ...

if i were you, i would format (i.e. --format=volumes) and install 10.2.1 first (e.g. hd1.1) and then install 10.2.1 with hotfix on another partition/slot (e.g. hd1.2) using b software or tmsh install sys software command. please make sure you backup 9.4.7 ucs before installing 10.2.1.

 

 

by the way, why don't you upgade to 10.2.4 latest hotfix?
