Upgrade from 4000S to 4200v

If you are on a BigIP version that uses device groups (11+), after some basic config you can add the new system to the existing device trust. After that, you can add the new one to the device group that handles your traffic group. Now it's just a matter of forcing the old to standby and you're set.

Most likely want to restore it much like an RMA except you will at the no-platform-check to the ucs restore command. I would open a support case as well so they can help you through it should you want them to.
