Software version upgrade for F5 LTM (4000s)
Hi All,
We have a F5 LTM (4000s) running on 11.4.0 for last 5 years. Please suggest the latest stable version to which these devices can be upgraded.
I have checked for Version 13.x.x but they are vulnerable to many issues. 14.x.x is quite new. I am not facing any issue with current software version though.
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance Aman
in 12.x versio 12.1.2 is the best version. In 13.X version You can upgrade to 13.1.2 or 13.1.4.

Thanks Raghavendra. I have one more doubt regarding point release version. Can I upgrade directly to 13.1.4 from 11.4.0 & 11.2.1 ?
You can upgrade directly to point-release versions only if you are running BIG-IP 11.5.0 or later. You cannot upgrade directly from versions earlier than BIG-IP 11.5.0, such as BIG-IP 11.2.x or BIG-IP 11.4.x, to any point release version, such as BIG-IP 13.1.0.1. If you are running a version earlier than BIG-IP 11.5.0, you must first upgrade to BIG-IP 11.5.0 or a later version that is not a point-release version.
