Upgrade BIG IP 3600 firmaware 11.1 for 11.6 - Problems memory
Good day.
I am performing the firmware upgrade from 11.1 to 11.6 in the BIG IP 3600.
When I install the firmware, the following message appears
failed (Physical memory (4096 MiB) is insufficient modules ltm, wam. See Solution SOL13988.)
Someone had this error?
Or version 11.6 is not compatible with BIG IP 3600

Check SOL14422. It is informing as of 11.3 that the max modules the 3600 can run has been reduced to a maximum of two.

Actually, WAM has been changed to AAM with 11.4. And AAM is a merge of WAM and WOM (8Gb of RAM needed). That means you try to provision 3 modules (LTM + WAM + WOM).
You have to stay in 11.3.0 maximum for WAM + LTM support on 3600. But be careful, this release is EoSD. Have a look here : https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/5000/900/sol5903.html
Your solution is to migrate to a new platform like BIGIP4000 with 16Go of RAM.
