upgradability of LTM-1600 to latast v11.x

We are currently running LTM 1600s as our load balancers, running on v11.2.x. We have been planning to upgrade them to the latest v11.x but have been put off by the extra memory requirements of the later v11 releases, as the 1600's are pretty tight on memory.

 

Is it possible to upgrade the 1600's to the latest V11.x release? If not, what is the last release they can be upgraded too?

    Andrew, according to https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/9000/400/sol9476.html?sr=33118989 they can be upgraded to the latest tmos version (11.6).

     

    Due to memory requirements you'll only be able to upgrade if you're running 2 or fewer modules as well.
