CirrusUnable to retrieve the ssl certificate list
When browsing in the webui to System - File management - SSL certificate list, i get the following error message: "General database error retrieving information" I can import or create certificates/csr, and have no problem creating ssl profiles either, but i cannot view the list itself, which is annoying.
Browsing on devcentral, has pointed me in the direction of restarting a service: bigstart restart httpd tomcat
but can this be done in production hours, or are there some other ways around this issue? the bigip is running 12.1.1
Httpd and tomcat is used by the admin interface. You can restart them whenever without impact to prod traffic unless the unit is really bogged down in terms of CPU (management CPU resources are lent to the tmm processes in the event of extreme load).
