Notice how vmnet2 and vmnet3 are showing up? In the network settings for VMware (not the VM's properties), look at the vmnet1 interface. I'm not a Windows box right now, but you should see a checkbox that says something like "Connect this interface to the local system". This option needs to be checked, which should add the interface and you should see vmnet1 in your ipconfig.
