Troubleshooting rewrites

Could someone share some good articles/guides how to troubleshoot rewrites? Ive tried https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K13384 but I need some guidance how to move forward. e.g I got a site that has alot of redirects to itself and I tried alot of different configurations, like Rewrite redirects in the http profile, tried all sorts of configuration of rewrite profile etc.

Any advise would be appreciated!
