Throughput upgrade of big-ip VE

The throughput limitation is based on the license of the box. So you should have received a new Base Registration Key which can be used to re-activate the BIG-IP and obtain the higher throughput. What information have you received from F5? It could be as an Add-On Registration Key as well.

Here is a guide on how you license your system. You simply need to click Re-Activate, clear the current Base Registration Key (save it just in case) IF it's a new Base Registration key and enter the new Base Registration Key. OR if it's an Add-On Registration Key, simply add it to the list and then go through the licensing process.

Remember that when you reactivate the license, it will reload the configuration, causing an outage. So perform this during a maintenance window.

Also, the throughput limitation is per TMM core. So if you have two TMM cores you will have 100Mbit throughout on TMM0 and 100Mbit throughput on TMM1. Please refer to the following material:
