synch interfaces mirroring

Hi All,

I have been reading it's best practice to use a seperate synch interface between an HA pair. I am running 2 6900's. I used a fiber cable and plugged it in between the 2 units and untagged only the synch vlan over that interface. That way, no other traffic is allowed over it. Does anyone see a problem with that? I'm plugging the fiber directly between the 2 units not using a switch. It's been running for a few months now and appears to be working fine. I will be using some persistence mirroring and want to make sure that traffic is isolated.
