We have an active/standby solution on version 10.2.3 that is plugged into two Cisco 2960 Switches. The diagram attached shows how it's connected.

Nimbostratusi'm in a hurry right now but review you interface/vlan config in the f5 devices, like whether the interfaces are in the appropiate vlan, self-ip iassigned to correct vlans etc....
