Aug 31, 2012Strange Error...
I have 2 APM's... One works. The config is almost identical and they're on separate BigIP's.
The one that doesn't work, gives this error
Aug 31 18:56:11 slot1/cdc-3-vpr1-dmz err apd[5271]: 01490000:3: AccessPolicyD.cpp func: "process_request()" line: 752 Msg: EXCEPTION AccessPolicyD.cpp line:1073 function: processClientData - client data is not from this session
and the web page comes back with Án unknown error has occurred immediately after the login...
Anyone seen that before?

It seems to be dependent on the browser... Or perhaps the machine... I can login to the second APM from a second client. But one client can't seem to login to BOTH the APM's. Even though they have different names, IP's etc...
Is there something funny shared between APM's that are installed on 2 pieces of a devicegroup, even if their configs are in traffic-groups that are local-only (And in partitions that don't get synced)?

Seems to be something to do with the Machine Cert Check step... If I remove that it runs through... WHy would that step not work for two separate APM's on the same machine? - Hamish

Can't be the IP... Both clients are hidden behind the same NAT rule... Doh! What's machine cert check doing I wonder...
