Stop Notifications

I have configured alerts which send notifications whenever any pool or node status is changing (Up/Down) , its working perfectly , But I am looking for easy way to stop these notifications during Maintenance window or any system setup time. I tried disabling SNMP Traps (System--SNMP--Traps--Configuration) options but still got notification email as soon as Node status changes.

Let me know if there any way to achieve this.
