Static App Tunnel and DNS Relay Proxy Service

Hi,

 

I have a test site with a single app tunnel resource configured by hostname, which is resolvable by the APM. I have two win8.1 users, one with local admin and the other normal user rights. I installed the component installer package. When the users connect via the browser the app tunnels establish but the name resolution doesn't work for the non-admin user. It looks like the DNS Relay Proxy service is not installed.

 

The connectivity profile has the DNS relay service ticked so should this be pushed down to the client by the installer service?

    DNS relay service is not downloaded / upgraded by the installer service. It must be installed and upgraded "manually" either in the customized package as standalone package or combined with other components. It's a kind of standalone program.
