SharePoint 2013 Load balancing on HTTP and HTTPS
Hi Guys,
I am fairly new to F5 LTM, I have got a requirement to load balance the SharePoint Servers for both the traffic one on HTTP and another on HTTPS. Is that possible to do on single virtual ip?
We have the HTTP iAPP rule already created and working. However am planning to create a iAPP rule on HTTPS. I am hoping that I will be create a rule using the same virtual IP that's being used for HTTP rule. Refer the screen shot of the existing HTTP rule is below. Also, wondering in terms of outage, at the time of creating the HTTPS rule for SharePoint, will it affect other applications published on the F5? will it disconnect the users? please advise.

Since HTTP and HTTPS run on different ports there is absolutely no problems to have them on the same Virtual IP. And it will not affect other services when you create the new configuration.
