I am trying to set up a playground for developing iRules and prepping for a move from Cisco Aces to F5 and I figired VE woudl be a good way to try these.
Now my questions, I have Oracle Virtual Box installed on my Laptop and am lookign to install Big IP 10.2.2 HF3.
Does anyone have any experience using this setup and/or and advice on how to get this up and running.
I have attached a screenshot of my attempt and teh error I am getting. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've no experience with Virtual Box (perhaps others have) and I'm sure it's not a supported hypervisor. Could you not use VMWare Workstation?
Also, why would you not want to use v11? v11.3 was released yesterday and is greatly improved VE wise.- Shane_Terrick_9I have no experience with VMWare Workstation ut may head down that route if necessary.
As for what I am not going to move to v11, we are currently on 10.2.2 and don't have an pending plans to move to v11 yet so I wanted to have a like for like senario. - What_Lies_Bene1I suspect you'll have to, understood RE v10. I'm running v11 on VMW (trial version) and it works fine.
qe_102628I've heard that 10.2.3 and 11.1.0 and later works well on modern versions of VMware Workstation, VMware Fusion, Hyper-V and Xen.
