send syslog out selfip
I have a VE configured for my Dev Environment. I have a SelfIP for my Virtuals but don't have a management subnet for the mgmtIP. I also configured a Default Gateway Route. I'm not getting any remote syslog messages. Remote syslog is configures in the VE-LTM and pingable. Is there a way to force syslog out the selfIP? VE is running OS v11.4.

In my VE environment, I can not add a mgmt address, i dont have a subnet for mgmt. I only have the SelfIP for the Virtual Servers. I need to send the syslogs to a remote syslog srv via the SelfIP.

i tested both ways and it works fine out mgmt or self IP in my VE, depends on whether my destination is routed via mgmt interface or via a TMM interface.
