script or irule to failover multiple wideips

hey guys,

 

our current configuration on the gtms is set to have our virtual ips failed over manually with the VIPS pointing to DC 'a' and DC 'b' using global availability load balancing on the gtm.

 

I created a script of commands in bash the would allow me to fail over them via commmand line ./script and in the script contains a series of tmsh commands the would failover of the widip between one DC or another along with some bash cmds sleep etc. tmsh modify ip is the tmsh cmd that is used in the shell script.

 

Is there an easier of doing this and or current irule or bash script that is already out that there that's similar that would support my question.
