RTMP Persistence

Has anyone made a rule to persist RTMP traffic based upon a custom header within the RTMP packet? We are integrating a SAP NetWeaver deployment with Adobe LCDS using native RTMP (not tunneling over HTTP.) The developers insist the header is being created and populated, but I am unable to decode the content or find any pattern within the hex.

  • Upon investigation, the custom header is found AFTER the C2/S2 of the RTMP handshake. The developer's case study involved the F5 rewriting the custom header, not persisting on it. I don't know that, even if we could replay the handshake, that the latency would be tolerable.

Thank you for the info, Nat.
