Round trip time with different router

Dear all,

 

 

I am writing an iRules to check the round trip time from BIGIP to a client IP. Actually, we have 2 external vlan on BIGIP and connected to 2 routers (each have different MAC address). Clients will access the virtual servers on these VLAN and should have different RTT for different routers.

 

 

We use "[ROUTE::rtt [IP::client_addr] $router_ip]" to get the resulted RRT, however, we found that the output for different router are always the same.

 

 

Did anyone used ROUTE:rrt before? and is my syntex correct?

 

Please help.
