    Root account is created by default. It cannot be deleted. It's default password is "default".

  • Someone disable it. You can create a new Administrator account with TMSH access and check in CLI "tmsh list sys sshd".

     

    PermitRootLogin no" <<<<<<----------root access is not allow

     

  • Thanks everyone. I discovered that this is a native issue with version 11.4 that I had on the box at the time I experienced this. I upgraded to 11.6 and everything was normal...the root account is there by the most basic licensing option.
