Request logging from RD1 VIP to RD0 log server pool is failing

Hi All, I have a setup that has a VIP in Route Domain (RD) 1 (partition 1) with an IRule sending Request-logging to a pool of servers located in RD 0 Partition Common. but it's failing. I thought it was possible to do inter RD routing using a VIP in one RD and a pool in a second RD. I know this setup is different from a standard VIP/Pool but I was hoping the same rule would apply. Following an earlier question would this work if I used a Request-logging profile?
