Remote Desktop Application
Thanks for the reply Mike.
They destination computer I'm having trouble connecting to is Windows Server 2008 R2.
After my post yesterday I was playing around with the permissions on the Windows 8 machine that wouldn't connect and I took full ownership of C:\windows\system32 (I was already logged on as an administrator).
I then used Firefox to connect, and it worked after prompting me to install the plugin for Firefox.
I then decided to see if IE would work - and it did!
I had a look at what sites are listed in the Trusted Zone, it has nothing listed.
I'm thinking that something from the client/configuration isn't installing properly or at all but I don't know how to prove that.
I then asked the person who is using a Windows 7 client to try again using IE and FF. IE did not work but FF did.
Unfortunately I don't have access to the Windows 7 machine (it's a client that is off-site and not owned by the person or me) so I can't really troubleshoot from that computer.
This person has installed the client under an Administrator logon a well
I had a case open with F5 for a while about this issue but I asked them to close it as I though it was just happening from my one Windows 8 machine, I thought that it may just be something on that machine.
Since then I had the client with the Windows 7 machine report the same problem.
I upgraded my F5 to v11.3 HF 6 at their request though this didn't make a difference.
So to re-cap.
Windows 8 machine is now working from IE but a Windows 7 machine isn't.
I have another Win 8 and Win 7 machines that do work.
I'm leaning to some sort of installation issue of the client
