reduce step Upgrading from 9.1.2 to 10.2.4

Hi

 

I have to upgrade BIG-IP v. 9.1.2 into v. 10.2.4 , I used BIG-IP 3400

 

 

so when I look at this SOL (Best practices) http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/9000/300/sol9353.html

 

this line

 

Upgrading versions 9.0.5 through 9.2.5 to the latest 9.x General Availability release (9.4.x)

 

1. Upgrade to the latest 9.x General Sustaining release (v 9.3.x).
2. Upgrade to the latest 9.x General Availability release (9.4.x).

 

Can I reduce step into>> Upgrade from 9.1.2 to 9.4.8 and then 9.4.8 to 10.2.4 ?

 

 

or I must do like SOL >>> Upgrade from 9.1.2 to 9.3.1 and then 9.3.1 to 9.4.8 and then 9.4.8 to 10.2.4 ?

 

 

ps. I want to roll configuration forward.
