  1. contact AWS support
  2. AWS troubleshoots
  3. If AWS cannot find solution, ask for escalation
  4. AWS support will now contact F5 support
  5. F5 support now involved for further troubleshooting with AWS support and customer

 

Try the above process and report back your findings. I do not believe that AWS support staff should be punting customers back to F5 support. If this is happening, please let us know!
