Query Related to License
HI Friends,
While checking license of BIG-IP LTM and LTM. I am getting below output on GUI and CLI.
Output On GUI :
For LTM :
License Type : Production
Licensed date : Nov 10, 2017
For GTM :
License Type : Production
Licensed date : Dec 23, 2012
Showing Active Module :
Global Traffic Manager Module
STP
GTM, DNS LB
DNS Express
There from some Optional Modules as well:
Contains, ASM, AFM, PSM, Link Controller, WAN, WOM, MSM, Routing Bundle and many more.
QUERY : What is the Licensed Date here meaning (which is 10-Nov-2017 and 23-Dec-2012) , What is the OPTIONAL MODULES means, Are License taken for this as well.

- Here in CLI i am not getting Optional Module in LTM as in GTM output.
- What is "Licensed on" & "Service Check Date" are ? (in CLI output)
How to Validate, which are all Modules (for which License is purchased) are in Actively used.

What is "Licensed on" & "Service Check Date" are ? (in CLI output): Reference
License check date - is a static date corresponding to the software version.
Service check date - is updated each time when you re-activate the license based on your active support contract.

==> Go to System >> Resource Provisioning see which are the module has activated and used.
* There from some Optional Modules as well: Contains, ASM, AFM, PSM, Link Controller, WAN, WOM, MSM, Routing Bundle and many more.
