Problem With F5

Hi,   I am new with F5, my company have this device BIG-IP 3600. My F5 show some indicator : status : blinking orange alert : red power 1 : green.   How to fix this problem or detect my problem...

"Status:blinking orange" Most likely means the device is a standby unit. Therefore, whatever problem you may have is probably not impacting production.

 

"Alert:red" means there is an "emergency". All your emergencies are defined in /etc/alertd/alert.conf

 

  • Log in to the F5 box via SSH, chances are the critical emergency (reason of red alert LED) will be reported right as you log in. If not, have a look at /var/log/ltm files (grep for "emerg").

"Power 1:green" You know the PSU1 is working fine and the emergency has nothing to do with PSU1.
