Priority Group
We have a scenario here where the passive member in priority group is also getting connections.
1.What could be the cases that this could happen. 2.I have heard from our linux mate that they will have connection limit in kernel.
Will this affect our priority group in any way.

Hello Chaithy,
On the pool, how did you configured the "Priority Group Activation" ? it should be set to less than 1 because you have only 2 backends and one in each group.

Yes persistence overrides active priority member. If the passive member was active at one time then clients may have persistence records or cookies pointing at the passive server causing bigip to send traffic there.
