Portal Access through Proxy
Hello,
I'm trying to configure a Portal access through a proxy. I did as usual but I added the IP and port of the proxy the Big-IP should use in the 'Proxy Host' and 'Proxy Port' fields.
I can ping the proxy or telnet it on 8080 but on a tcpdump I never see any attempt from the Big-IP to reach the proxy when a user clicks on the Portal access. He instantly gets a reset packet from the Big-IP. I don't see any log concerning this issue.
Am I missing something? Is there anything else to configure when trying to use a proxy?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately the Portal Access Engine cannot use a proxy in the case of HTTPS sites. This is F5 bug ID 340549.
There is a workaround that works for most cases. You'll have to create a support ticket for more analysis and troubleshooting though.
