Nov 07, 2011Pool members disconnected after adding new float IP
I'm configuring a new a new interface for a LTM Big IP 3900, when i configured a new float IP address, this caused two nodes from the other pool of this LTM disconnected. Is this a known bug of the LTM ? Thanks.

this caused two nodes from the other pool of this LTM disconnected.what does this mean? does health monitor fail? is client unable to connect to pool through virtual server? - Phu_Nguyen_7215

yes, the two nodes on different VLAN failed health check. The existing VLANs don't have floating IP configured. Thanks. - nitass

yes, the two nodes on different VLAN failed health check. The existing VLANs don't have floating IP configured. health monitor should use non-floating selfip as source address, so it should not be affected when adding a new floating selfip.
