Pool Issue in F5 LTM

I have seen issues like this before due to routes from the switches/routes setup to forward via an IP forwarding Virtual Server which allows the F5 active member monitors to work fine but standby monitors to fail or enter an unknown state.

 

You able to change the monitor to something more application specific? Even if only to a TCP or TCP Half Open monitor.

 

Also you able to share some more information about the network setup between the F5 and the backend servers?
