Can anyone point me to where I can find directions on how to install the F5 plug-in into my OEM 12c Cloud Control environment ? Opened an SR with Oracle and they pointed me to the OEM 10g instructions. OEM 12c is much different then OEM 10g, the 10g instructions provide no help when it comes to 12c. Thanks in advance. - Ed_26003

Hello F5,
I downloaded the 12c Version of the F5 OEM plug-in from the F5 website but I am unable to "deploy" it into OEM 12c Cloud Control because I am running on a 64-bit Linux platform. Here is the Error I am getting:
Component OMS for plugin F5.BIGIP.LTM:12.1.0.1.1:0 is not certified for Operating System Linux x86-64
Is there any way to get a 64-bit version of the plug-in ? Obviously, the future is 64-bit .... any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ed - Tmaria_92778

Hi Ed
We are trying to deploy this as well and getting the same error.. Can you please guide where you found the 64bit version.
The links in the thread all point to the same file.

Hi Tmaria,
MY question was .... WHERE CAN I FIND THE 64-bit VERSION OF THE PLUG-IN??
As soon as I find out I will update the thread.
Thanks,
Ed - Ron_Carovano_75Historic F5 AccountHas anyone tried recompiling the source code for 64-bit? This discussion is a good reason why this is an open source plug-in.

Recompiling using the Oracle utility EMPDK on a 64bit Linux system worked. Better documentation would be greatly appreciated. - Ron_Carovano_75Historic F5 AccountFantastic Ed@itec! Will you be sharing your results on DevCentral? We hope so as this would be the most significant community contribution since OEM 11g. I am already aware of a few other users who are seeking a 64-bit version and I'm sure your thought on documentation would be beneficial.
If you'd l ike to take the discussion offline, I can be reached at r.carovano@f5.com

Yes a 64-bit Linux version would be better. Thank you. - Ron_Carovano_75Historic F5 AccountEd@Itec, if you pass along the 64-bit version to me, I will work with the F5 DevCentral team to make this accessible to the others who have requested it. You can e-mail me at r.carovano@f5.com.
