I got a question
Does F5 sends traffic to the Pool ( with out any monitor being applied ) defined in Irule when the default pool is down.
Eg. Default pool is on prem and is down but services in cloud pool managed by Irule are up but this pool doesn't have a monitor attached.
Does F5 still sends traffic to cloud pool defined in Irule or look for health check/status of pool before sending traffic to it.?
Any KB would help on this.

iRules are attached to virtual servers, not pools. So if the pool you select has monitors or not depends on the pool configuration.
