Node automatically update their IP address via API
How can i update my node IP address if there is a change with the Backend server IP address change.
We have servers in cloud (Azure) they will get the new private address when the servers get redeployed. we want some mechanism on the F5 to automatically update their addresses.
We had it enabled with the node type by FQDN, and we had some issues on the DNS and we got off that model.
Currently please help me with how we can accomplish with the any sort of the API on the F5.
Thanks

I trust you need to first delete the node and recreate it with the new IP address. Obviously, before you delete you need to remove the node from all the pools that are referencing to it.

You can use iControl REST for BIG-IP object manipulation. For general information, see
-
iControl(R) REST API User Guide, Version 13.0.0 (search DevCentral for other versions).
-
If you are familiar with Python, you can use F5 Python SDK Documentation.
