neutron-lbaas statistics not updating

My understanding is that in order to get the status of pool members reported back to Openstack, you require the neutron-lbaas-agent service to be running. The install steps make no mention of modifying the configuration of the INI file for this service, and it won't start without additional config (it defaults to trying to start with haproxy). Should this file be modified to point to the F5 agent/driver?
