Network access from a Webtop

New to the LTM/APM world and am having issues getting network access working from a webtop. Currently, I have the network access working so that the users can just ssl vpn into our systems. I have a webtop working that presents access into some of our internal systems and seems to be working just fine.

I added network access to the webtop and button shows up on the webtop as expected. However, when selected, I get the "initializing" screen and after a moment, the tab just disappears... doesn't minimize, just disappears.

Am running 11.03 HF7 if that helps.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

dg

  • Are the webtop and remote access configuration in the same Full Resource Assign agent in the VPE? How do you have each configured separately?
  • No, I used different access policies, different urls. I have the webtop setup for normal users and a standalone network access policy for more experienced VPN users... Thanks, Danny

  • For a test, take the working network access configuration and add it to the Full Resource Assign agent in the other access policy, along with the webtop.
  • I've actually created a new network access policy using the wizard with a full webtop and that works by itself. I then add one of my "portal access" entries to the resource assign statement in the access policy. SSL vpn works, but the item added to the resource assign does not. For now, i'm removing the network access and just proving a webtop for the applications... Will keep the ssl vpn on a different url all together until I can figure out what is going on...
