Multiple iRules on VIP

Hi can you please tell me if I have multiple iRules on a VIP, and the first one sends a request to a different pool than what is bound to the VIP, will any of the additional iRules on the VIP take effect, i.e. will the LTM finish evaluating the other iRules befor sending the request to the pool specified in the first iRule?

    Hi Myles,

     

     

    All iRule events and code are executed regardless of which rule they were in, unless you explicitly disable an event or all events. If you select a pool in one rule and then later select a different pool in another rule, the last pool command wins. An iRule pool command will take precedence over the VS default pool.
