Multi-Hop cycle error when navigating to F5 VIP
Our company is beginning some testing on our F5 for future applications in which an internal application talks to the F5 first to go out an access external resources. To begin the testing i currently have a simple standard virtual server setup in the F5 LTM to play around with. We have an internal VIP and the back-end node is an FQDN to google.com. The issue im having though is i get a "multi-hop ccle detected" in every browser when trying to go to the VIP. When i change the back-end to an internal server with IIS, then the page loads normally. Any thoughts as to whats going on causing the cycle?
Thanks for any and all replies!

you mean outbound connection (server initiates connection to external resource such as internet), don't you?
if yes, what virtual server configuration are you using? is it ip forwarding virtual server?
