move config to another Big IP LTM

Hi all,   I would like to know what the best approach is to move the complete config from one Big Ip box to another. Is it ok just to create a .ucs file on one box and import it to the other ?   ...

You can create and import ucs, it will work.

 

Are this 2 boxes same hardware version ?

 

If it's not, you will have some issues with interfaces so you'll have to edit the .conf manually.

    Also, is the hostname of the two boxes the same? if it is then in v10.x it will do a full config restore (which i assume you want to do), if not then only a shared config restore.
