Monitor / Alert for GTM to know when Failover has occured

I have two datacenters and I want to know when GTM is handing out our DR addresses for a particular GTM Wide-IP. I have done some googling but have not turned up any custom monitors that could alert on this. Anybody out there done this before? Thanks, WWTBIGIP

    It's not the function of a monitor (in either GTM or LTM) to notify external locations when a host is available/unavailable, but the change of state is logged, and you can use that log message to send an SNMP trap, generate an email, write a message to the LCD or execute an external script. Take a look at solution 3667 to see how to send email alerts.
