Modified Windows theme using ssl vpn

I have noticed that when I use the F5 SSL VPN to connect to my work PC the windows theme changes from "Windows XP modified" to "Modified Theme". This theme resembles windows classic and distorts the UI of many applications. Both my home and work PC use the Windows XP theme. Is there a setting to keep the existing theme when using SSL VPN?
