meaning of any6.any related to "tmsh show sys connection cs-client-addr 1.1.1.1"

I need the exact meaning of the following output: show sys connection cs-client-addr 1.1.1.1 what does the ad any6.any mean? I have about 8000 of these "states" about 100 connections in which IP addresses are displayed like 1.1.1.1:57525 1.1.1.2:443 1.1.2.2:57525 1.1.1.3:443 tcp 79 (tmm: 0) none

  • Did the "following output" you reference get cut out when you submitted? I don't see any example with "any6.any"?

  • F5 uses IPv6 internally so you may see 'any6' in your connection table:

An any6 entry referenced in the client section of the table occurs when a connection between the BIG-IP LTM system and a node is eligible for reuse using OneConnect
