LTM Services and what licences are required to implement them

We have customer that has BIGIP LTM's and they have requested if the following services can be provided by their LTM's

 

  1. Outbound Internet Proxy for the public users which queries the Web Sense Manager.
  2. Reverse Proxy for MS Exchange 2013 Outlook Anywhere – certificate installed where?
  3. Local LB for clients connecting to Exchange Servers – all ports?

can you advise on what licensing they require to implement if not included on the LTM and any config guides please.

    Hi,

     

    • for 1) you need a SWG license
    • for 2) simple loadbalancing could be done by LTM, if you would like to use any kind of AAA function you need the APM and if you would like to secure the application ASM is needed
    • for 3) as LTM license should be enough
