LTM Self ip probing a server in GTM
Hi All,
Can someone please help me in this scenario.
We have three GTMs,two in our HO and third one in our DR office.
Now i am trying to integrate LTMs with GTM where I have a pair of LTMs both at perimeter and core.Once integrate Core LTM pair in GTM, the monitor instance of servers starts flapping on GTM.
Commands used on GTM after creating "BIg-ip Redundant" server bigip_add x.x.x.x ------ self-ip of Active box of Core LTM pair bigip_add y.y.y.y ------ self-ip of Standby box of Core LTM pair
Prober-Pools in GTM HO- Members include self-ip of HO GTM DR - member include self-ip of DR GTM
The moment i integrate LTM in GTM,servers starting flapping with following message.
Mar 22 11:41:44 HQ-gtm-01 alert gtmd[12489]: 011ae0f2:1: Monitor instance /Common/BARCODE-363 10.25.60.83:0 UP --> DOWN from x.x.x.x (state: timeout) ---------Probed from LTM self-ip which i added

I dont have LTM self-ip included in the Prober Pool but it is still trying to probe the VS and marking the server down and when it probes from GTM self-ip ,it goes successfull.
Can someone kindly help me in this scenario if I am missing some configuration and small step.
Regards

Difficult to tell without actually seeing the prober pool config. Without prober pools, any device configured as a bigip server in the gtm config can be selected to probe. If there is a bigip device in the same data center as the device being probed.
