LTM openssl 0.9.8-e doesnt support tlsv1.2

Im trying to perform monitor and information gathering and create a script that finds if the servers can use tlsv1.2? But, since openssl 098e doesnt support 1.2 and curl uses the openssl information... how do I verify if the server can use a cipher of tlsv1.2?

  • That's a complicated question.

Upgrading to a version that supports TLS1.2 would be the most obvious answer. Otherwise you could potentially build a "portable" openssl on another Linux platform and copy over the binaries - totally not supported though.
