LTM Monitoring Configuration support
Hi
My backend servers are listening to port 21 (FTP), 22 (SSH), 443 (HTTPS), 444. I want to configure a monitor to probe the mentioned ports. if the server is listening to the ports then probe should pass and it should fail if the servers stop listening to ports. Kindly advice is the possible and method to perform

I'm assuming you want to monitor all the ports - tcp 21, 22, 443 and 444, and only if all the ports respond, the node must be marked Up. In case any of the four port-probes returns Down, the pool member must be marked Down, is this correct?
You can follow the steps below:
1) Create 4 custom monitors, based on TCP Half Open monitor. In the new custom monitor creation settings, specify the "Alias Service Port" as 21. Specify the desired name, e.g "monitor_tcp-half-open_21". Leave the rest of the fields as they are. Create 3 more custom TCP Half Open monitors with all the relevant port numbers.
2) In Pool configuration settings - enable all four health-checks by moving your custom monitors to Active section of "Health Monitors". Remove any by-defalt Active monitors as you will not need them. Additionally, select "Availability Requirement" as All. Click Update. - Rajendran2002_1
