Oct 08, 2015I'm assuming you want to monitor all the ports - tcp 21, 22, 443 and 444, and only if all the ports respond, the node must be marked Up. In case any of the four port-probes returns Down, the pool member must be marked Down, is this correct?
You can follow the steps below:
1) Create 4 custom monitors, based on TCP Half Open monitor. In the new custom monitor creation settings, specify the "Alias Service Port" as 21. Specify the desired name, e.g "monitor_tcp-half-open_21". Leave the rest of the fields as they are. Create 3 more custom TCP Half Open monitors with all the relevant port numbers.
2) In Pool configuration settings - enable all four health-checks by moving your custom monitors to Active section of "Health Monitors". Remove any by-defalt Active monitors as you will not need them. Additionally, select "Availability Requirement" as All. Click Update.
