NimbostratusLTM Hypervisor connection status
I have a 7200v HA (Active/Standby) pair running on 12.0, and the Hypervisors are on 11.4. Both the Hypervisors are being shown in disconnected state and it suggests me to Reset Device Trust (Device Management -->Device Trust). Each device has 2 guests on it. What I think, after resetting the device trust, I should be able to to see six entries in the peer list (1 local hypervisor + 1 remote hypervisor + 2 local clients + 2 remote clients) ?. Also, it should not cause an impact when the reset activity fails ?
Amresh008The devices would be in Active online (Stand Alone mode) after resetting the device trust. That's the way they should be in. The guests are shown in the vcmp guest list post upgrade.
Amy is right. You should not cluster the hypervisors as per F5's recommendations. Check out this article for more (and very useful) information.
